Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA Debut
The rising star has considerable online following
The young golfer will have plenty of prominent supporters when she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa practically suggested to play and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.
But she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He represents the best player in the world," Kai stated.
"And he's an even better individual. He told me to compete, relax, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials mentioned that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, specifically with youth audiences.
Kai maintains substantial online presence and just introduced her own apparel and wellness brand.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
